ASHLAND, Wis. -- The Lawrence University volleyball team dropped a tight 3-0 nonconference decision to the College of St. Scholastica on Saturday at Kendrigan Gymnasium.
  The Saints defeated Lawrence 25-22, 26-24, 25-22 as part of the Northland Triangular.
  St. Scholastica rallied in the opening set after Lawrence built a 22-18 lead. The Saints scored the final seven points to grab the opening set. In the second set, the match was tied 24-24 before St. Scholastica took the last two points to close out that set. In the final set, the Vikings trailed 18-7 before rallying. Lawrence went on a 11-2 run to trim the lead to 20-18 before the Saints recovered and closed out the match.

Hazel Cook paced the Vikings with 15 kills and picked up a double-double with 11 digs. Cook also added two aces and a block.
Margaret Hahnke picked up 11 kills for the Vikings and had a match-high 19 digs for her own double-double. Hahnke also had three aces.Â

Cora Linos picked up 27 assists and added six kills, an aces and three digs for the Vikings. Libero
Daphne Piotrowski picked up 16 digs for the Vikings.
