Late goal spoils Lawrence comeback at Ripon

RIPON, Wis. -- The Lawrence University men's soccer team rallied from a two-goal deficit on Tuesday at Hopp Stadium before Ripon College got a late goal to secure a 3-2 Midwest Conference victory.
The Vikings trailed 2-0 after a Ripon goal just two minutes into the second half.
Lawrence (2-10-4, 1-4-2 MWC) cut the lead in half when Aidan Greer scored for the Vikings at 50:15 off a pass from Rodrigo Angulo. The Vikings then tied the score at 2-2 when Zach Dale scored off another pass from Angulo at the 70:19 mark. That gave Angulo 16 assists for his career, which ties him for the Lawrence record.
Andre Robertson then scored his third goal of the evening at 75:04 to give Ripon (13-6-0, 4-3-0) the lead back for good.
Nason Lancina played the first 75 minutes for the Vikings and made five saves. Sam Jahnke made five saves for Ripon.
