SAUGET, Ill. -- The Lawrence University baseball team lost a late lead Sunday, and Concordia University Chicago pulled out a 6-2 nonconference win at GCS Ballpark.
  The Vikings built a 2-0, but Concordia scored all six of its runs in its final three at-bats to grab the victory.
  First-year shortstop
Tate Hartlaub went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles for Lawrence (2-1), and
Taylor Freeman went 2-for-3 and scored a run.Â
  Lawrence took the lead in the second when the Vikings loaded the bases on Freeman's single, a
William Zatkowski walk and a
Ben Gutowski. Freeman scored on a passed ball, and the Vikings led 1-0.
  The Vikings added a run in the third when
Parker Knoll doubled and then stole third. After
Jacob Charon walked to put runners at the corners, the Vikings executed the double steal, and Knoll scored for a 2-0 edge.
  Lawrence starter
Elden Santana kept the Cougars off the board until giving up a run in the sixth. Santana went 5.1 innings, allowed one run on three hits, struck out seven and didn't walk a batter.
  Concordia struck for three runs in the seventh off reliever
CJ Filipek to take a 4-2 lead and tacked on two more runs in the eighth. The Vikings loaded the bases with two outs in the ninth, but the Cougars got a strikeout to end the game.
