CLERMONT, Fla. -- The Lawrence University offense was shackled Saturday in a 5-1 nonconference loss to Lakeland University.
  The Vikings were limited to three hits by Lakeland's Madi Johnson. She allowed just one run, struck out six and walked four to pick up the win.

Avery Chilson was solid in the circle for Lawrence (3-6). Chilson allowed eight hits and three earned runs in five innings. She struck out two and walked one.
  The only hits for the Vikings came from
Zoe Doherty, Jordan Wallin-Swamson and
Adrie Villa.Â
  Lawrence trailed 3-0 when the Vikings got on the board in the fourth.
Mattigan Haller started the inning with a walk, moved to second on a bunt and scored on Wallin-Swanson's single.
  Lakeland improved to 8-3 on the season with the win.Â
