w  DECATUR, Ill. -- The Lawrence University baseball team swept a nonconference doubleheader on Saturday at Millikin University in two decidedly different ways.Â
  Lawrence rolled to an 11-1 victory in seven innings in the opener at Workman Field. The Vikings then rallied to take the nightcap 8-7 in 10 innings in the second game.
  In the first game, Lawrence (7-1) rode the power bat of
Jacob Charon and the superb pitching of
Quinn Berglin.Â
  Charon went 2-for-5 with a three-run homer and a double, scored two runs and drove in five to pace Lawrence's 14-hit attack. Berglin improved to 2-0 on the season with 5.1 innings of two-hit baseball. He gave up just one run, struck out five and walked three.

William Zatkowski went 3-for-4 for the Vikings, and
Parker Knoll was 3-for-5 with a double.
Edan Perez and
Tate Hartlaub both went 2-for-4 with a pair of runs scored and one run batted in for Lawrence.
Zach Leslie returned to the Lawrence lineup and scored two runs and drove in a pair.
  Lawrence scored three times in the third on Charon's three-run blast to grab a 3-0 advantage.
  The Vikings added five more runs in the fourth as Hartlaub and Knoll picked up run-scoring singles to push the lead to 5-0. Charon followed with a two-run double, and the Vikings were up 7-0. Leslie drew a bases-loaded walk to finish the frame and give the Vikings an 8-0 edge.
  Lawrence tacked on a run in the fifth on Perez's RBI double, and two more in the sixth on Leslie's run-scoring single and
Ben Gutowski's sacrifice fly for an 11-0 lead.
  In the nightcap, Millikin (6-6) built a 5-0 lead through three innings before the Vikings rallied.
  Lawrence got on the board in the fourth with Knoll's run-scoring single and closed to 5-2 when Charon led off the sixth with a solo blast.
  The Vikings then scored twice in the seventh to cut the lead to one. Berglin hit a solo homer, and Charon added a single to score Knoll later in the frame to trim the margin to 5-4.
  Lawrence took the lead in the top of the ninth when Perez smacked a two-run homer for a 6-5 advantage. Knoll followed with a single and stole second and third. He scored on Charon's sacrifice fly, and Lawrence led 7-5.
  The Vikings gave up two runs in the bottom of the ninth to tie it at 7-7, but Lawrence came back to take the lead in the 10th. Leslie started the inning with a single and moved to second on a sacrifice bunt. Leslie came in to score on Hartlaub's single, and Lawrence led 8-7.

Brandon Brust worked around a two-out walk in the bottom of the 10th to close out the win. The Vikings got a strong relief effort from
Elden Santana, who worked four scoreless innings and allowed just one hit. He struck out four and walked two.Â
  Charon was 3-for-4 with three RBIs in the nightcap, and Perez was 3-for-5 and drove in a pair. Leslie and Knoll both went 2-for-4 in the second game.
