STEVENS POINT, Wis. -- The Lawrence University baseball smashed five homers Tuesday and pounded out 19 hits in a 17-16, 10-inning nonconference win over UW-Stevens Point at Zimmermann Field.
  In a wild, back-and-forth affair, Lawrence trailed by three runs early, rallied to lead by six runs and trailed by two entering the ninth inning before tying it to send the game to extra innings.

Parker Knoll went 3-for-6 with two home runs, scored four times and drove in three runs for the Vikings (22-8). Lawrence's
Edan Perez continued his torrid hitting by going 4-for-6 with a homer and a double, four runs scored and two runs batted in.
Tate Hartlaub thrived in the lead-off spot in the order as he went 4-for-7 with three runs scored.
  Lawrence's
Taylor Freeman went 2-for-4 with a homer and a double, drove in three runs and scored three times.
Zach Leslie and
William Zatkowski had two hits apiece for the Vikings, and
Jacob Charon hit his 10th homer of the season.
  The Vikings trailed 16-14 entering the ninth, but Hartlaub led off the inning with a single. Knoll followed with a two-run bomb, and the game was tied at 16-16.Â
  Connor Robertson came on to pitch for the Vikings and worked around a pair of walks to pitch a scoreless bottom of the ninth.
  Stevens Point pitcher Kaden Krueger walked Freeman to start the 10th, and Freeman promptly swiped second. After
Ben Gutowski was hit by a pitch, Zatkowski laid down a bunt to move the runners to second and third.
Nathan Depew's squeeze bunt scored Freeman, and Lawrence led by one.Â
  Robertson then worked a perfect bottom of the 10th to secure the victory. Robertson didn't allow a hit, struck out two and walked two to improve to 1-0 on the season.
  Lawrence scored two in the first on a run-scoring double from Perez and an RBI single from Leslie. The Vikings then trailed 5-2 before Charon blasted a three-run homer in the third to tie it.
  Lawrence trailed 6-5 when Knoll led off the fifth with a homer, and Perez followed with another homer for a 7-6 lead. The Vikings tacked on two more runs in the inning for a 9-6 lead.Â
  Lawrence scored three more times in the sixth before the Pointers (19-10) rallied to trim the lead to 12-11. Freeman smacked a two-run homer as part of three-run eighth inning to give Lawrence a 14-11 advantage. Stevens Point then scored five times in the bottom of the eighth to grab a 16-14 lead, but the advantage wouldn't last long.
  The Vikings return to Midwest Conference play on Wednesday when they host Beloit College at Don Hawkins Field.
