MEQUON, Wis. -- The Lawrence University women's soccer team played Concordia University Wisconsin to a standstill Friday, but the Vikings came on the wrong end of a 1-0 nonconference setback at Fitting Field.
    Concordia scored in the 64th minute for the only goal in the contest. Bella Rapp scored at the 63:15 mark to put the Falcons ahead for good in the season opener for both teams.
    Ella Lysne made five saves for the Vikings, and Brooke Braga stopped five shots for Concordia.
    Lawrence held an 11-9 edge in shots over the Falcons.
