APPLETON, Wis. -- The Lawrence University women's soccer team scored four times in the second half Sunday and rolled to a 6-3 nonconference win over Lakeland University on Ron Roberts Field at the Banta Bowl.
  The match was tied 2-2 at the half, and the Vikings scored four times after the break to seal the victory.

Natalie Linebarger scored twice for the Vikings (1-1-0), and
Izzy Robertson and
Kylie Kutschera both notched their first collegiate goals in the second half.
  Lawrence got on the board just 2:06 into the match when
Hannah Kalt bent a corner kick from the southeast corner of Ron Roberts Field into the net. Lakeland (0-1-0) tied the match on Malaya Sperber's goal at the 8:27 mark, but the game didn't stay tied for long.
  Linebarger took a free kick from about five yards to the right of the penalty box and deposited it into the far corner of the net for a 2-1 lead at the 11:26 mark. Sperber scored again at 25:03 to tie the match at 2-2.
  Linebarger gave the Vikings the lead for good early in the second half. Her goal off a scramble in front of the net at the 50:39 mark put the Vikings up 3-2. Lawrence pushed the advantage and Robertson scored eight minutes later. Robertson took a crossing pass from
Erica Grube and punched it home for a 4-2 edge at 58:42. Jess Smith got the scoring play started with a pass to Grube down the far sideline.
  After Sperber scored again to complete a hat trick for the Muskies, the Vikings put the game away with two goals in a six-minute span.

Madi Jones scored her first goal of the season off an assist from
Kate Noonan at 70:13, and Kutschera scored at 76:45 for her first goal to complete the scoring.

Ella Lysne picked up the win in net for the Vikings.Â
  Lawrence pushed its edge in the series against Lakeland to 15-0-0. The six goals is the most Lawrence has scored against the Muskies since a 12-0 win way back in 1997.
