WHEATON, Ill. -- The Lawrence University volleyball team dropped a 3-0 nonconference decision to Aurora University on Friday at King Arena.
Aurora defeated the Vikings 25-20, 25-21, 25-14 at Wheaton College. The match was part of the Marilyn Scribner Invitational.
The Spartans won two tight opening sets to take control and closed out the match in three sets. Aurora had a solid .226 hitting percentage and was aided by 10 aces.
Margaret Hahnke led Lawrence (3-6) with 10 kills and added eight digs and an ace.
Hazel Cook added seven digs, eight digs and a pair of blocks for the Vikings.
Aliana Butler-Gray picked up six kills and four digs for Lawrence.

Cora Linos had 20 assists to go with the four kills and three digs.
