APPLETON, Wis. -- The Lawrence University women's soccer team came up on the short end of a 2-0 decision Tuesday against No. 16 Loras College in a nonconference game on Ron Roberts Field at the Banta Bowl.
  The Duhawks scored once in each half to post the victory.Â
  Loras (6-0-0), which hasn't allowed a goal this season, got two goals from Savannah Johnson. Johnson scored in the 33rd minute, but the Vikings kept it close and generated a few scoring chances of their own but couldn't find the back of the net.
  The Duhawks got some breathing room when Johnson scored again at the 79:40 mark for a 2-0 edge.
  Loras posted a 14-4 edge in shots, and Duhawks goalkeeper Kyndal Kells made a pair of saves to record the shutout. Lawrence goalkeeper
Ella Lysne made five saves for the Vikings (3-3-1).
  Lawrence returns to action on Saturday when the Vikings travel to UW-Whitewater.
