MONMOUTH, Ill. -- The Lawrence University men's soccer team battled to a 2-2 Midwest Conference tie with Monmouth College on Saturday at Peacock Park.
  The Scots scored first, but the Vikings got goals from
Daito Sho and
Zach Dale to grab the lead before Monmouth got the equalizer in the final 10 minutes. Monmouth grabbed the early lead with a goal at the 15:31 mark, and that lead held up well into the second half.
  Lawrence (1-5-3, 0-0-1 MWC) tied it in the 63rd minute. Sho took a pass from
Emiliano Garcia Fadanalli and beat Monmouth goalkeeper Alejandro Zamarripa at the 62:17 mark for a 1-1 tie.
  The Vikings then grabbed the lead 11 minutes later. Dale scored off a pass from
Rodrigo Angulo at the 73:32 mark to give Lawrence a 2-1 advantage.
  Tanner Faivre scored at the 81:58 mark to secure the tie.

Nason Lancina made five saves for the Vikings, and Zamarripa had eight saves for Monmouth (2-5-2, 0-0-1). Lawrence had a 19-14 edge in shots for the match.
