Cambrie Rickard scored two goals and
Natalie Linebarger had two assists Monday as the Lawrence University women's soccer team rolled to a 4-0 nonconference victory over St. Norbert College at Schneider Stadium.
Lawrence (6-3-1) scored twice in each half and limited St. Norbert (3-6-0) to just five shots for the match.
Cambrie Rickard scored her first two goals of the season, and Linebarger now has a team-best six assists on the campaign.
Ava Elders got the scoring started quickly for the Vikings as she took a pass from Linebarger and scored just 46 seconds into the match for a 1-0 lead.
Lawrence doubled the lead in the 24th minute as
Kylie Melonis scored off a pass from
Hannah Kalt for a 2-0 advantage at the 23:10 mark.
The Vikings took that lead deep into the second half when Rickard sealed the victory.
Rickard scored off a pass from Linebarger at the 75:22 mark, and then scored again off a beautiful through ball from
Jessica Smith at the 84:56 mark for the final margin.

Ella Lysne made one save to record the shutout, the third consecutive shutout for the Vikings. Lilly Collins made six saves for the Green Knights.
Lawrence posted a 22-5 edge in shots for the match.
The Vikings picked up their first win over St. Norbert, a former Midwest Conference rival, since a 2-0 victory in 2010.
