MONMOUTH, Ill. -- All of the scoring took place in a span of 39 seconds Saturday, and that added up to a 1-1 Midwest Conference tie between Lawrence University and Monmouth College at Peacock Park.
    The scoring came early as Monmouth's Owen Murray gave the Scots a 1-0 lead at the 7:41 mark. 
    Lawrence (0-8-3, 0-4-1 MWC) came back and scored just 39 seconds later when William Mikkelsen scored off a pass from Rei Ohtsuka at the 8:20 mark.
    That was it for the scoring as the teams were held in check for the final 81-plus minutes.
    Lawrence goalkeeper Nason Lancina made five saves for the Vikings. Luis Villa made two saves for Monmouth (3-5-3, 0-3-1).
