BELOIT, Wis. — Lawrence University (20-10, 4-2 Midwest) dominated Beloit College (4-19, 0-6 Midwest) in a straight-set victory at Flood Arena on Saturday, winning 25-17, 25-8, 25-9. With todays win the Vikings have broke the single season record for most wins in a season with 20.Â
Lawrence  started strong in the first set, with
Annaliesse Schmall registering the opening point with a kill assisted by
Ally Corrente. After an early tie, the Vikings capitalized on several errors by Beloit College, including a sequence initiated by
Amanda Vlkovic's serve, leading to a four-point run that put them ahead 6-3.
Audrey Weier contributed significantly with a service ace and a kill, helping to extend the lead to 11-5.
Beloit  attempted a comeback with kills from Selin Tufte, but Lawrence maintained momentum through consistent offensive pressure.
Britta Josephson and
Alayna Geiser each added key kills, while Corrente's setting helped facilitate a balanced attack. The Vikings closed out the set decisively with a final kill by Geiser, assisted by
Sydney Vannett, securing a 25-17 win in the first set.
Lawrence established dominance in the second set with a commanding start, quickly securing a 4-0 lead. This momentum continued as Schmall and
Zoe Siegel contributed key kills, expanding the lead to 12-3. Weier's service ace further widened the gap, and the Vikings maintained control with a series of points from Corrente's effective setting and attacks. Lawrence concluded the set with a decisive 25-8 victory, closing out the set on a service error from Beloit.

Mikala Seymour solidified the team's dominance with key blocks and kills, leading to Lawrence concluding the set with a commanding 25-9 victory. This marked the final set, securing the win for Lawrence.
Schmall posted 13 kills and added four digs, leading the offensive effort for the Vikings. Corrente facilitated the attack with 24 assists and contributed 10 digs on defense.
Aria Wessel played a crucial defensive role, recording 16 digs and adding two service aces. Geiser supported the team's serving game with five aces while contributing seven digs.
