DE PERE, Wis. — Lawrence University's men's swimming and diving team delivered strong individual performances but fall in meet against St. Norbert College with a final score of 151-60 .
Jackson Bertman led the way with a first-place finish in the 1-meter diving event, scoring 367.80 points to secure 9 points for the team.
Andrew Ford-Taggart followed closely, placing second with a score of 359.00, while
Bryan Haddad Zamorano added three points with a third-place finish, scoring 299.50. In the 100-yard freestyle,
Will Phillips delivered a standout performance, finishing first with a time of 48.97, earning another nine points for Lawrence.
Henry Ambrose also contributed with a fourth-place finish in the same event, clocking in at 55.17.
Sebastian Stacey achieved a third-place finish in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 59.93, earning three points for the team. Meanwhile, in the 400-yard freestyle relay, the Lawrence University A team, featuring Joe Phillips and
Michael Branham, finished second with a time of 3:10.20.
Leslie Cleveland added to the team's effort with a fourth-place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke, recording a time of 1:14.50. The collective efforts across various events highlighted the depth of talent within the Lawrence squad.
