APPLETON, Wis. ā Lawrence University (9-4-6, 5-1-2) secured a 1-0 victory over Ripon College (4-9-5, 2-3-3) on Saturday at The Banta Bowl in their regular season finale.Ā

Ava Elders scored in the 9th minute, capitalizing on offensive momentum from an earlier corner kick. The Vikings continued to press, with multiple shots from Elders and
Lucia Pierce-Haig, though Ripon's goalkeeper, Britt Hable, made several saves.
Ella Lysne, in goal for Lawrence, effectively held off Ripon's attempts, maintaining a clean sheet through the first half. The half concluded with Lawrence leading 1-0.
Lawrence maintained their lead in the second half with an assertive defensive performance, highlighted by Lysne's crucial saves, including a pivotal stop against Addison Misner's shot in the 55th minute. The Vikings' offensive efforts were frequent, with
Elena Hartung and Elders generating multiple shots on target, though Britt Hable of Ripon denied each attempt. The half concluded with Lawrence holding Ripon scoreless, ending the game 1-0 in favor of the home team.
Lysne recorded seven saves in the match, contributing to a shutout performance.
