JACKSONVILLE, Ill. -- The Lawrence University men's basketball team fell behind early Saturday and couldn't recover in a 66-43 Midwest Conference loss to Illinois College at Sherman Gymnasium.
    The Blueboys (15-7, 8-5 MWC) jumped out to a double-digit lead in the first nine minutes and led 40-23 at the half.
    Casey Schoenecker led Lawrence (6-16, 4-9) with 10 points and was the only Viking to score in double figures. Nathan Valentine and Nolan Koch added nine points apiece for the Vikings. Hogan Demovsky had six points and grabbed a team-high six rebounds for Lawrence.
    Josh Harris led the Blueboys with 16 points, and Jaylen Swinney pulled down a game-high 15 rebounds.
