ORLANDO, Fla. -- The Lawrence University men's tennis team dropped a 6-1 nonconference decision to Morgan State University in the Vikings' spring break opener.
  Lawrence's lone victory came at No. 6 singles where
Cole Witucki won via a walkover.
  Lawrence got outstanding efforts throughout the lineup but were unable to scratch out a win.
Andrew Larson led 3-2 in the second set at No. 1 singles before Makkijha Brown rallied for a 6-2, 6-3 win. Lawrence's
Owen Horton led 4-3 at No. 5 singles, but Jacob Poole came back to win 6-2, 6-4.
  Morgan State, an NCAA Division I program, improved to 4-10 on the season. The Vikings dropped to 6-7.
