CLERMONT, Fla. -- The Lawrence University softball team dropped a 5-1 nonconference decision to UW-River Falls on Saturday at Legends Field.
  River Falls broke a 1-1 tie with two runs in the fourth and added two more in the sixth to seal the victory.
  Lawrence (2-7) was limited to three hits, and
Mattigan Haller went 2-for-3 to pace the Vikings.
Zoe Doherty collected the other hit for the Vikings, and
Jordan Wallin-Swanson drove in a run.
  River Falls (11-7) led 1-0 after the first, but the Vikings tied it in the top of the third. Doherty and Haller started the inning with singles, and Wallin-Swanson's sacrifice fly scored Doherty to tie the game at 1-1.
  The Falcons got two runs in the fourth with the help of a two-run triple, and they added two more in the sixth with help a walk, two singles and an error.
  It was a tough loss for
Avery Chilson, who allowed only five hits while going the distance. She struck out two and walked five.Â
