CINCINNATI, Ohio -- The Lawrence University women's lacrosse team fell behind early Saturday and couldn't recover in an 18-4 nonconference loss to Mount St. Joseph University at Schueler Field.
  Mount St. Joseph jumped out to a 5-0 lead after the opening quarter before
Bella Krull-Collins got Lawrence on the board on the opening minute of the second quarter.
  A pair of goals from
Lydia Lueck helped the Vikings close to 7-3 midway through the second quarter, but the Lions scored the final five goals of the quarter to grab a 12-3 lead at the half. Mount St. Joseph (2-5) opened the second half with four consecutive goals to pull away.
  Lueck led the Vikings with two goals, and Krull-Collins and
Savannah Larsen picked up the other two scores for Lawrence (1-3).

Evelyn Pryadkin made 14 saves for Lawrence, and Alyssa Carlson stopped four shots for the Lions.
