Lawrence falls to Raiders

    APPLETON, Wis. -- The Lawrence University women's lacrosse team dropped a 16-1 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference decision to MSOE on Wednesday on Ron Roberts Field at the Banta Bowl.
    The Raiders (3-11, 3-4 NACC) held Lawrence scoreless until midway through the fourth quarter while piling up a 35-11 advantage in shots. MSOE jumped on Lawrence (1-10, 0-7) early by scoring seven times in the opening quarter.
    Lydia Lueck scored the lone goal for the vikings off a free-position shot with 6:40 remaining in the fourth quarter.
    Evelyn Pryadkin made nine saves for the Vikings, and Laura Melizza made five saves for MSOE.
