APPLETON, Wis. -- Lawrence University baseball star
Taylor Freeman was named to the D3baseball.com All-America team on Thursday.
  A senior second baseman, Freeman (Missouri City, Texas/Houston Christian) was selected for the fourth team.Â
  Freeman put together a stellar season at the plate for the Vikings, and he was honored by both the Midwest Conference and on two All-Region 9 teams. The 2025 Midwest Conference Position Player of the Year, Freeman received All-America honors for the first time.Â
  Freeman hit .439 for the season, and that ranks 16th in all of NCAA Division III. He collected nine doubles, one triple, 14 home runs and 48 runs batted in. He also scored 58 runs and swiped a school-record 35 bases. Freeman ranks 10th in the nation at 0.90 stolen bases per game. He is 11th at 1.49 runs scored per game and 20th at 0.36 homers per game.
  This marks the second consecutive season and the third time in four years that Lawrence has had a player chosen for an All-America team.
Jacob Charon,
Parker Knoll,
Quinn Berglin and
Edan Perez were all selected in 2024, and Charon was selected in 2022.
  Freeman, who received all-region honors from both D3baseball.com and the American Baseball Coaches Association this year, wrapped up a spectacular career in 2025. He ranks 15th with a career .349 batting average and is fourth with a .646 slugging percentage. Freeman ranks first with 51 doubles, second with 41 homers and second with 163 RBIs. He is the career leader with 177 runs scored and first with 83 stolen bases.
  Freeman led Lawrence to a second consecutive Midwest Conference championship in 2025. The Vikings, who have three of the last four conference titles, finished with a 21-19 record.
