PELLA, Iowa -- The Lawrence University volleyball team put together a workmanlike 3-0 nonconference victory Wednesday over Westminster (Mo.) College at the Central College Triangular.
    Lawrence defeated the Bluejays 25-19, 25-20, 25-23 to improve to 8-2 on the season.
    Margaret Hahnke paced Lawrence with 11 kills, and she picked up seven digs. Audrey Weier added seven kills and hit .429 for the match, and Hazel Cook had six kills and a pair of digs.
    Britta Josephson, Alayna Geiser and Chania Tinch had three kills apiece for the Vikings, who collected 14 service aces. Aria Wessel, who led the Vikings with 13 digs, also had a match-high four aces. Josephson and Amanda Vlkovic had three aces apiece.
    Setter Ally Corrente handed out 31 assists and picked up six digs and two blocks.
