OSHKOSH, Wis. -- Ryan Cassiday led the Lawrence University men's cross country team to third place Friday at the UW-Oshkosh Fall Classic.
    Cassiday raced to third place as he covered the 8,000-meter course at the XC Ranch in 25:25.9. 
    Finn Lee was next for the Vikings as he finished 10th in 25:56.6, and Nick Hansen finished 17th for Lawrence with a time of 26:08.5. Caleb Hardy raced to 23rd place in 26:38.3, and Zach Meyer finished the scoring by placing 25th in 26:42.6.
    Lawrence took third in the team standings with 78 points, and UW-Oshkosh won the team title with 30.
    On the women's side, Mila Westra was the top finisher for Lawrence as she took sixth place. Westra covered the 6,000 meters in 22:41.0 to lead the Vikings to sixth place. Lawrence finished with 121 points, and UW-Stevens Point was first with 56.
    Lillian Courtnage-Dyke was next for the Vikings as she finished 13th in 23:00.1, and Faith Onukaogu grabbed 27th place in 24:19.4. Rachel Fleck finished 37th in 27:15.2, and Laura Henze finished the scoring in 38th in 27:32.6.
