APPLETON, Wis. -- The Lawrence University women's volleyball team rolled to a 3-0 nonconference sweep of Marian University on Wednesday at Alexander Gymnasium.
  Lawrence downed the Sabres 25-14, 25-19, 25-18 as part of the Lawrence Triangular.

Margaret Hahnke paced the Vikings with 13 kills as the Vikings (4-1) hit .343 as a team. Hahnke also added 13 digs and a pair of service aces.Â

Audrey Weier added nine kills and six blocks for the Vikings, and
Chania Tinch picked up seven kills and a block. Setter
Ally Corrente led the Vikings' offense with 32 assists, and libero
Aria Wessel had a match-high 16 digs.
  In the opening set, Lawrence led 14-12, but then the Vikings ripped off nine of the next 10 points to grab a 23-13 advantage. Lawrence built an early 6-1 in the second set, but the Sabres (0-4) chipped away. Marian cut the lead to 20-19, but Lawrence's
Britta Josephson served out the final five points, including three aces, to end the set.
  Marian grabbed a 16-14 lead in the third set, but the Vikings rattled off 11 of the next 13 points to win the set and match.
