LA CROSSE, Wis. -- The Lawrence University women's soccer team dropped a 5-0 nonconference decision to UW-La Crosse on Friday at Veterans Memorial Field.
    The Eagles (3-0-0) scored in the sixth minute and added another goal in the 27th minute to lead 2-0 at the half. La Crosse added two goals in a seven-minute span early in the second half and tacked on the final goal in the last three minutes.
    La Crosse put together a 37-9 edge in shots for the match.
    Goalkeeper Ella Lysne picked up nine saves for the Vikings (1-1-1). Summer Nicolai had four saves for La Crosse.
