Lawrence shut out at Saint Mary's

    WINONA, Minn. -- The Lawrence University women's soccer team dropped a 3-0 nonconference decision to Saint Mary's University on Saturday at Ochrymowycz Field.
    The Cardinals grabbed a lead on Lauryn Skoruppa's goal in the eighth minute, and then tacked on a goal in 25th minute for a 2-0 lead at the half. Saint Mary's (4-0-0) added another Skoruppa goal in the 62nd minute to complete the scoring.
    Lawrence goalkeeper Ella Lysne made two saves, and Ally Littau made two saves over the final 65 minutes. Anna Peckosh made three saves for the Cardinals.
    Saint Mary's posted a 15-9 edge in shots over the Vikings (1-2-1).
