RIPON, Wis. ā Lawrence University (9-6, 2-4 Midwest Conference) fell to Ripon College (3-13, 3-4 Midwest Conference) 83-67 on Tuesday night at Weiske Gymnasium.Ā
Lawrence initiated the first half with a focus on inside scoring, notably accumulating 18 points in the paint. Despite early challenges with shooting from beyond the arc, the team managed to keep the game tight, thanks to contributions from
Nicholas Gouriotis, who added two crucial 3-pointers. Defensive efforts included 14 defensive rebounds, which helped to limit Ripon's second-chance points.
Momentum shifted midway through, as Lawrence closed the gap with a series of successful layups and a timely 3-pointer by
Hogan Demovsky. The Vikings took a brief lead when
