Vikings fall to Carleton

WINONA, Minn. — Lawrence (2-2) fell to Carleton (5-0) 9-0 on Sunday at the Winona Tennis Center. Carleton secured the victory by sweeping all singles and doubles matches.

Lawrence dropped the doubles point against the opponent. The No. 1 doubles team of William Reichen and Benjamin Hoppe faced a 3-6 defeat. Similarly, Gabriel Garcia and Will Lewis fell 0-6 at No. 2 doubles. On the No. 3 doubles court, David Rothman and Williams Phillips also ended with a 0-6 scoreline.

In singles play, Reichen battled at No. 1 singles, eventually falling in three sets 3-6, 7-6(7), 0-1(5). Hoppe competed at No. 2 singles, finishing with a 0-6, 0-6 result. Garcia, at No. 3 singles, also concluded his match with a 0-6, 0-6 score.

Lewis at No. 4 singles completed his match with a 0-6, 0-6 outcome. Owen Horton, playing No. 5 singles, ended with a 0-6, 2-6 scoreline. At No. 6 singles, Jonathan Myszka recorded a 1-6, 1-6 result, rounding out the day for Lawrence.
