WHITEWATER, Wis. —The Lawrence University men's and women's track & field teams competed at the Midwest ELITE Invitational hosted by UW-Whitewater, turning in strong performances against a deep field of regional competition.
WOMEN'S RECAP
Lillian Courtnage-Dyke delivered a standout effort in the 5,000 meters, finishing in 17:57.38 to break her own Lawrence University indoor school record. The performance not only led the Vikings on the women's side, but marked another milestone in what has been a strong indoor campaign for Courtnage-Dyke. Competing in a loaded field, she showcased both strength and consistency while resetting the program standard she previously established.
Men's Recap
Finn Lee paced the Vikings, finishing in 14:59.01 in the 5,000 meters. Lee competed aggressively throughout the race and led Lawrence's distance effort against a deep regional field. Ryan Cassiday also represented the Vikings in the event, crossing the line in 15:58.68 to round out Lawrence's performance in the 5K.
