APPLETON, Wis. -- The Lawrence University women's tennis team started its season with a 9-0 Midwest Conference loss to St. Norbert College on the Lawrence Courts.

The toughest match of the day came at No. 1 doubles where St. Norbert's Meg Witt and Sofie Koppmann held of Lindsay Holsen and Katie Nottberg 9-7.
