Vikings fall to Lake Forest

LAKE FOREST, Ill. -- The Lawrence University men's soccer team finished its season on Saturday with a 7-1 Midwest Conference loss to Lake Forest College at Farwell Field.

Will Nichols scored for the Vikings, and it was his 10th goal of the season. Nichols is the first Lawrence player to hit double digits in goals for a season since Rodrigo Gomes scored 11 back in 2003.

Hunter Lanton and Cole Kelez each played a half in goal for the Vikings and made three saves apiece. Tero Elias made one save for Lake Forest.

Joao Godoy picked up a hat trick for Lake Forest.
