Box Score BELOIT, Wis. -- The Beloit College men's soccer team scored the first three goals Saturday and went on to a 4-1 Midwest Conference victory over Lawrence University at the Strong Stadium Complex.
Beloit scored in the fifth minute and then added two more goals by the 41st minute to take a 3-0 lead. Lawrence's Julien Riviere scored off an assist from Brendan Vellenga in the 42nd minute to trim the margin to 3-1 at the half.
Beloit added a late goal to complete the scoring.
Alex Lyon made two saves to get the win, and Hunter Lanton stopped seven shots for the Vikings.
