APPLETON, Wis. -- The Lawrence University women's tennis team rolled to a 7-2 nonconference win over Alverno College on Saturday at the Lawrence Courts.
The Vikings won five of the seven contested matches and took advantage of a pair of forfeits at No. 6 singles and No. 3 doubles.
Lawrence got doubles wins from Annie Harincar and Katie Nottberg at No. 1 and Alexis Shannon and Lindsey Lucas at No. 2. Lawrence also grabbed singles wins from El Goblirsch at No. 3, Shannon at No. 4 and Morgan Fisher at No. 5.
Lawrence is now 4-6 on the season, and Alverno fell to 0-7.
