APPLETON, Wis. -- Mattie Letendre and
Jackson Bertman won two events apiece Saturday to lead the Lawrence University swimming and diving teams at the Gene Davis Invitational at Boldt Natatorium.
  Letendre took first in the 50-yard freestyle in 26.16 seconds and grabbed the top spot in the 100 butterfly in 1:00.41. Letendre also grabbed second in the 200 backstroke in 2:14.48.
  Led by Letendre, the Lawrence women were third with 423 points.Â
  The other top individual finisher for the Vikings was Irina Staroston, who took third in the 100 freestyle in 57.82 seconds. The 400 freestyle relay team of Letendre, Emily Hornung, Olivia Szabo-Gartner and Starostin raced to second in 3:54.48. The 200 freestyle relay of Olivia Ashe, Mackenzie Petty, Kate Stanley and Szabo-Gartner took third in 1:55.69.
  Bertman swept the diving events for the Lawrence men. He grabbed first on the 1-meter board with a score of 414.00 and took the top spot on the 3-meter board with a score of 327.25.
  With Bertman leading the way, the Vikings were third with 356 points.

Davis Wukovits and
Keegan Mencke also won events for the Lawrence men. Wukovits grabbed first in the 50 freestyle in 22.84 seconds, and he took third in the 100 freestyle in 50.95 seconds. Mencke raced to first in the 400 individual medley in 4:32.95, and he took second in the 200 breaststroke in 2:26.08.
  The 200 medley relay team of

Eamon Rougvie took third in 1:51.56. The 200 freestyle relay team of Rougvie, Nathan Gault-Crabb,
Kevin Byrne and Harris took third in 1:41.81.
