GRINNELL, Iowa -- The Lawrence University swimming and diving teams posted multiple top-three finishes Saturday at the Pioneer Classic at Grinnell College.
  Mattie Letendre took third in a trio of events for the Lawrence women, and
Jackson Bertman grabbed a second-place finish for the Lawrence men.
  The Lawrence women took seventh in the team standings with 210 points, and the men were sixth with 175.
  Letendre grabbed third in the 200-yard backstroke in 2:12.94 and was third in the 100 backstroke in 1:01.46. Letendre also took third in the 100 butterfly in 1:00.59, and teammate Irina Starostin was sixth in 1:03.67.
  The other top individual finisher came from diver Chloe VandeHey, who was 12th on the 1-meter board with a score of 248.45.
  The women's 200 medley relay team of Letendre, Stella Macfarlane, Starostin and Emily Hornung was eighth in 1:57.98. The 800 freestyle relay team of Olivia Szabo-Gartner, Kristyn Landon, Olivia Ashe and Katarina Stanley was ninth in 9:16.22. The 400 freestyle relay team of Letendre, Hornung, Starostin and Mackenzie Petty took 10th in 3:54.00.
  Bertman took second on the 1-meter board with a score of 416.60, just behind Andrew Jensen of Gustavus Adolphus College at 430.50.

Keegan Mencke paced the men's swimmers with a fourth-place finish in the 1,650 freestyle in 17:30.53. Mencke also grabbed ninth in the 400 individual medley with a time of 4:28.30.

Davis Wukovits had two top-15 finishes as he took 14th in the 100 freestyle in 49.92 seconds and 15th in the 200 freestyle in 1:54.01.
Michael Thorson took 12th in the 200 backstroke in 2:06.92, and
Leighton Frater was 13th in the 100 backstroke in 57.15 seconds.
  The 200 medley relay team of Frater, Wukovits,
Aaron Harris and
Alex Bemben took 13th in 1:45.86.Â
