JACKSONVILLE, Ill. -- The Lawrence University women's tennis edged Illinois College 5-4 Saturday morning in a Midwest Conference match at the Bellatti Tennis Complex.
  Lawrence got a combined three points from the duo of
Lauren Aturaliya and
Chloe Lamb. Aturaliya and Lamb teamed up for an 8-2 victory at No. 2 doubles. The No. 3 team of
Anna Vanden Acker and
Morgan Fisher posted an 8-3 win to give the Vikings a 2-1 edge heading into singles.
  Vanden Acker pushed the lead to 3-1 when she rolled to a 6-0, 6-0 victory over Jasmine Dennis at No. 5 singles. Lamb and Aturaliya then wrapped up the victory for the Vikings. Aturaliya defeated Hannah Lueke 6-2, 6-2 at No. 2, and Lamb pounded Mikhayla Haloftis 6-1, 6-0.
  Lawrence improved to 3-4 overall and 2-1 in the league. Illinois College fell to 1-8, 0-2 in the MWC.
