APPLETON, Wis. -- The Lawrence University swimming and diving teams split a dual meet on Saturday with Beloit College at Boldt Natatorium.
  The Lawrence men rolled past the Bucs 134-48, and the Beloit women defeated the Vikings 145-80.

Will Phillips was a double winner for the Vikings as took the sprint in the 50-yard freestyle in 22.56 seconds and swam to victory in the 100 freestyle in 49.51 seconds.

Jackson Bertman easily won the 1-meter diving with a score of 263.60 and took the top spot in the 3-meter diving with a score of 257.05.

Sebastian Stacey swam to the win in the 200 freestyle in 1:54.87, and
Leighton Frater was the winner in the 100 butterfly in 59.73 seconds.
Michael Thorson grabbed the win in the 100 backstroke in 58.64 seconds, and
Aaron Harris swam to first in the 100 breaststroke in 1:06.07.
  Lawrence's 200 medley relay team of Frater, Harris, Stacey and Phillips swam to a win in 1:44.25. The 200 freestyle relay of
Adam Martin,
Keegan Mencke, Thorson and
Kevin Byrne took the win in 1:40.46.
  On the women's side, the Vikings won a pair of individual races. Ella Lee took the top spot in the 1,000 freestyle in 12:49.94, and Kiran Jayasingle swam to victory in the 100 butterfly in 1:05.75.
  The women's 200 medley relay team of Kylie White, Katarina Stanley, Jayasingle and Stella Macfarlane were first in 2:05.19.
