LAKE FOREST, Ill. --
Jackson Bertman won one diving event and took second in another to lead the Lawrence University swimming and diving teams at the Lake Forest College Double Dual on Saturday at the Sports and Recreation Center.
  A sophomore standout, Bertman took the top spot in 3-meter diving with a score of 232.80. He posted a winning margin of 36.55 points. Bertman also grabbed second on the 1-meter board with a score of 214.20.Â

Keegan Mencke took second in the 800-meter freestyle with a time of 9:14.32, and
Will Phillips was the other top finisher for the Vikings as he grabbed second in the 50 freestyle in 25.34 seconds.
  Irina Starostin and Chloe Vandehey were the top performers on the women's side.Â
    Starostin was second in the 200 freestyle with a time of 2:15.89, and she grabbed second in the 100 freestyle with a time of 1:02.95.
    Vandehey posted a pair of second-place finishes in diving. She grabbed second in 1-meter diving with a score of 154.75 and took the runner-up spot on the 3-meter board with a score of 132.00.
  On the men's side, UW-Whitewater defeated the Vikings 176-37, and Lake Forest topped Lawrence 151-47. The Whitewater women downed Lawrence 146-77, and Lake Forest defeated the Vikings 180-45.Â
