GRANVILLE, Ohio -- Lawrence University standout Jackson Bertman wrapped up the NCAA Division III Central Region Diving Championships on Saturday with the 1-meter competition.
    The sophomore diver finished 21st in the championships at the Trumbull Aquatics Center. Bertman compiled an 11-dive score of 266.45.
    Bertman's best dive of the day came on his 10th dive, a forward 1 1/2 somersault with a twist. He posted a score of 33.00.
    Bertman, the two-time Midwest Conference Diver of the Year, was taking part in the NCAA regional for the first time.
