APPLETON, Wis. --
Ryan Cassiday and
Finn Lee finished 1-2 Saturday to lead the Lawrence University men's cross country team to victory at the Gene Davis Invitational at Reid Golf Course.
  Cassiday won his first collegiate title by covering the 8,000 meters in 24:53.4, and Lee was second in 24:58.4.
  Lawrence won the team title with 27 points to easily claim the event championship. Wisconsin Lutheran College was a distant second with 58 points.

Zach Meyer raced to fourth place in 25:25.5, and
Nick Hansen was right on his heels as he took fifth in 25:29.3.
Caleb Hardy completed the scoring for the Vikings by 15th in 26:22.2.
  Rounding out the top seven for the Vikings were
Max Reemtsma in 25th (27:07.2) and
Leigham Alexander in 28th (27:24.2).
  On the women's side, Lawrence finished a close second to UW-Oshkosh and placed two runners in the top three.
  Mila Westra took second for the Vikings as she covered the 6,000 meters in 22:32.9, and Lillian Courtnage-Dyke raced to third place in 22:39.5.
  Faith Onukaogu was next for the Vikings as she grabbed sixth place in 23:44.0. Rookie Rachel Fleck snatched 12th place in 24:48.0, and Laura Henze finished the scoring for Lawrence by finishing 25th in 26:13.4.Â
  Eli Wunderlich completed the Lawrence contingent as she finished 29th in 27:36.5.
  Lawrence finished with 48 points, and Oshkosh took the team title with 36 points as the Titans placed four runners in the top nine.
