APPLETON, Wis. -- The Lawrence University men's tennis team lost a hard-fought 5-2 Midwest Conference decision to Illinois College on Saturday at the Lawrence Courts.
  The Vikings dropped the doubles point as only
Andrew Larson and
Benjamin Hoppe won with a 6-2 victory at No. 1.
  Larson was a winner at No. 1 singles as he topped Tejas Zala 7-6 (7-4), 6-4.
Owen Horton also picked up a 7-5, 6-7 (6-8), 10-6 win for the Vikings at No. 4.
  Lawrence is now 7-13 and 1-2 in the league.
