Cristobal Perez Fourcade and
Jack Kropp have been selected for the United States Fencing Coaches Association Division III All-America team.
  Perez Fourcade (Cordoba, Argentina) was a first-team pick in men's saber, and Kropp (Falls Church, Va.) was a second-team selection in men's epee.
  A first-year fencer, Perez Fourcade capped his season by qualifying for the NCAA Championships. Perez Fourcade grabbed six bout wins at the national meet, which was held at Penn State.
    He posted a fourth-place finish at the NCAA Midwest Regional, and that was the highest finish by a Lawrence fencer at the regional championships since Jakub Nowak took seventh in 2020. Perez Fourcade also took ninth place at the Central Collegiate Fencing Conference Championships. He helped lead the Vikings' saber team to second place at the league championships.
  Perez Fourcade, who posted an overall record of 51-43, was a second-team All-Central Collegiate Fencing Conference selection and was chosen for the USFCA All-Midwest Region team.Â
  Kropp (Falls Church, Va.), also a first-year fencer, grabbed a sixth-place finish at the Central Collegiate Fencing Conference Championships while putting together an 8-3 record on the day. Kropp led the epee squad to fourth place at the league meet as the Vikings took third place overall. He also grabbed 10th place at the NCAA Midwest Regional with an 8-13 mark.
  Kropp, who finished the season 78-40, was chosen for the USFCA All-Midwest Region team and was a second-team all-conference selection. Â
