WAUWATOSA, Wis. -- The Lawrence University track and field teams posted a number of strong performances Saturday at the Wisconsin Private College Championships at Raabe Stadium.
  The Lawrence women finished fifth in the team standings with 42 points, and the men were seventh with 37.
  The Vikings posted four second-place finishes on the women's side.
  Senior Cristyn Oliver grabbed second in the 1,500 meters in 4:51.83, and Oliver anchored the 4x400 relay team that took second in 4:17.80. Oliver was joined by Laura Henze, Mila Westra and Faith Onukaogu on the relay.
  Riley Winebrenner ran to second place in the 3,000 steeplechase in 12:29.86, and Eli Wunderlich was second in the 10,000 in 48:04.98.
  Westra added a third-place finish in the 800 with a time of 2:23.74, and Natalie Anderson was fifth in the 5,000 in 21:01.70.

Will Eggert posted the top finish for the Lawrence men as he grabbed second in the javelin with a toss of 157 feet, 10 inches.Â
  Lawrence also had three other place in the top eight in field events.
Tristan Zook leaped to third in the long jump with a distance of 20-6.5.
Leo Hagberg was third in the triple jump at 42-8, and
Jack McLaughlin was eighth in the hammer throw with a toss of 134-9.

Zach Meyer had the top finish in the running events as he raced to third place in the 800 in 2:00.70, and teammate
Alex Luckett was seventh in 2:03.15.
  Lawrence had two runners place in the 5,000 as
Caleb Hardy took sixth in 16:42.60, and
Owen West was eighth in 17:07.62.
  Lawrence's 4x400 relay team of Luckett, Meyer,
Henry Buehrer and
Bergen Thorson placed seventh in 3:39.30.
