ST. PAUL, Minn. — Lawrence University volleyball standouts Bella Van Lannen and Norma Glisczinski were named to the Kathryne Pals Legacy Invitational All-Tournament Team following a strong weekend at the Ericksen Center, with Van Lannen earning Tournament MVP honors.

Van Lannen powered the Vikings throughout the three-match tournament, piling up 50 kills across 12 sets while hitting .244. She added three service aces, 12 digs and five total blocks while accounting for 56.5 points.

The Lawrence outside hitter saved her biggest performance for Saturday's tournament finale. Van Lannen hammered a match-high 22 kills while hitting .364 as the Vikings defeated host Northwestern-St. Paul in four sets. She also added two service aces and two blocks in the victory.

Van Lannen's performance capped a productive weekend that began with eight kills in Lawrence's four-set victory over UW-Platteville. She followed with 20 kills and a .254 hitting percentage later Friday against Bethel.

Glisczinski joined Van Lannen on the All-Tournament Team after totaling 35 kills and eight total blocks over the three matches while posting a .275 hitting percentage.

Glisczinski opened the tournament with one of her best offensive performances, putting down a team-high 15 kills with just one error on 29 attempts for a .483 hitting percentage in the victory over UW-Platteville. She followed with 10 kills against Bethel before adding another 10 in Saturday's win over Northwestern-St. Paul.

The two helped Lawrence finish the weekend 2-1, earning four-set victories over UW-Platteville and Northwestern-St. Paul.
