Box Score CLERMONT, Fla. -- The Lawrence University softball team jumped out to an early lead, but Oberlin College stormed back to post an 11-6 nonconference victory on Friday.
Lawrence led 5-1 after two innings, but Oberlin scored six times in the third and added two runs in both the fourth and sixth innings to seal the victory.
Sophia Musiak went 3-for-4 with two runs batted in and two runs scored to pace Oberlin's 16-hit attack. Maddison Paladino also collected three hits for the Yeowomen (4-9).
Hannah Rasmussen worked three innings of one-run relief to get the win. Madeline MacLean went the distance and took the loss for Lawrence (4-7). She allowed seven earned runs, struck out one and didn't walk a batter.
Kori Looker went 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles, and Liz Jonjak also went 2-for-3. Ceara Larson drove in a pair of runs for the Vikings.
