APPLETON, Wis. -- The Lawrence University volleyball team gets an opportunity to compete when the Vikings travel to Rock Valley Community College for a scrimmage on Saturday (May 8).
    Lawrence takes on the Golden Eagles at the Physical Education Center at 2 p.m. on Saturday in Rockford, Ill. The match will be webcast at: https://justagamelive.com/clients/rock-valley-college.
    Lawrence hasn't taken part in any sort of competition since competing in the St. Norbert Quad way back on Nov. 2, 2019. Lawrence saw its entire fall 2020 campaign wiped away by the COVID pandemic.
    The Vikings have three seniors on the roster, outside hitters Caitlin Chambers and Emily Hoeft and setter Averie Miller. This will be the first collegiate action for the Vikings' three first-year players, Dana Mestey, Rose Kent and Kali Pfannerstill.
