RIPON, Wis. -- The Lawrence University women's and men's track teams both finished sixth on Saturday at the Midwest Conference Championships at the Willmore Center.
  The Lawrence women finished with 64 points, and the men piled up 66 points.
  The distance medley relay posted the top finish on Saturday for the women with a strong second-place finish. The team of Jane Partsch, Lilia Bodnar, Laura Henze and Cristyn Oliver took the runner-up spot with a time of 13:09.40.Â
  The top individual finisher for the women was Berkeley Krell, who grabbed third in the 800 meters with a time of 2:23.60.Â
  Irene Yank placed in a pair of events for the Vikings. Yank was fourth in the 60-meter hurdles in 10.04 seconds. She also took fifth in the triple jump with a leap of 33 feet, 7.25 inches. Teammate Mariana Zendejas was eighth in the triple jump at 33-0.25.Â
  Lawrence also had two runners place in the 3,000 as Edythmae Frodl took fifth in 10:33.32 and Riley Winebrenner was eighth in 10:47.48. Ella Fajardo-Wilde raced to eighth in the 400 in 1:03.31.Â
  Fajardo-Wilde also teamed with Krell, Bodnar and Gabby Skorczewski to grab fourth place in the 4x400 relay in 4:12.50.

David Benjamin grabbed the top finish on the day for the Lawrence men and led three Vikings in the top eight in the triple jump. Benjamin grabbed second place in the triple with a leap of 43-8.
Leo Hagberg jumped to fourth place with a distance of 43-0.25, and
Will Eggert grabbed eighth place at 39-6.5.

Greyson Schneider secured third place in the pole vault as he cleared 13-5.25 and was one of two Vikings in the top seven.
Nyhan O'Sullivan took seventh with a height of 10-6.
  The Vikings had two more individual top-three finishers.
Kala Velasco sprinted to third in the 60 hurdles with a time of 8.77 seconds.
Finn Lee raced to third in the 3,000 as he finished in 8:39.71. The other top individual finisher for the Vikings was
Tristan Zook, who took sixth in the high jump at 5-11.25.
  Lawrence's distance medley relay team of

Alex Luckett,
Elek Anderson and
Ryan Cassiday raced to fifth place in 10:57.18. The 4x400 relay team of Luckett,
Brendan Cross,
Marcus Jackson and Zook took seventh in 3:30.16 and broke a school record in the process. They topped the mark of 3:30.27 set by All-American Kolade Agbaje-Williams, James Hahn, Cole Brittain and Kyle Hewitt back in 2004.
  Ripon College swept the team titles on their home track.
