Zoey Ziegler secured a third-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle, highlighting Lawrence University's participation at the Gene Davis Invitational.
Lawrence University's participants delivered notable performances at their first home meet of the season. The team showed competitive spirit in the Women's 400-yard Medley Relay, where Mattie Ramont,
Jami Revoir,
Zoey Ziegler, and
Ella Lee combined for a fifth-place finish with a time of 4:38.99.
Kiran Jayasinghe led the team in the Women's 200-yard Individual Medley, securing fourth place with a time of 2:30.38, demonstrating her proficiency in the event.
In the Women's 200-yard Freestyle, Ziegler achieved a third-place finish with a time of 2:04.32, marking one of the standout performances for Lawrence. Ramont also delivered a strong showing in the Women's 1650-yard Freestyle, finishing tenth in 20:53.74. On the diving boards, freshman
Viv Affatato made an impressive impact, finishing fifth in the 1-meter diving with a score of 287.90 and fourth in the 3-meter with 270.20, highlighting her potential in future competitions.
