APPLETON, Wis. -- Four members of the Lawrence University women's basketball team have been chosen for the Academic All-District team by the College Sports Communicators.

Maggie Culver,
Mallory Meyer,
Sophie Morey and
Caroline Sharpe were chosen for the team. To be eligible for the team, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore, have a minimum 3.5 cumulative grade point average and played in at least 90 percent (or started two-thirds) of their team's games.
  A senior guard, Culver (Winfield, Ill./Saint Francis) was honored for the second consecutive year. A double major in neuroscience and psychology, Culver has a 3.87 grade point average. A 2024 All-Midwest Conference selection, Culver averaged 8.2 points and 6.5 rebounds per game this past season.
  Meyer (Battle Ground, Wash./Battle Ground), a senior forward, also was honored for the second consecutive season. A bachelor of musical arts major, Meyer has a 3.60 grade point average. A 2025 All-Midwest Conference selection, Meyer became just the sixth player in Lawrence history to top the 1,000-point plateau. Meyer, who finished with 1,002 career points, averaged 9.7 points and 4.0 rebounds this past season.
  A junior forward, Morey (Tinley Park, Ill./Providence Catholic) was named to the academic all-district team for the first time. A double major in gender studies and psychology, Morey has a 3.74 grade point average. She averaged 7.7 points and 5.1 rebounds per game this past season.
  Sharpe (Gurnee, Ill./Warren Township), a senior guard, was named to the academic all-district team for the first time. Sharpe is a psychology major with a 3.73 grade point average. Sharpe started every game for the Vikings this past season and helped lead them to a second-place finish in the Midwest Conference standings.
  Lawrence finished with an 18-8 record and earned a second consecutive berth in the Midwest Conference Tournament.  Â
